Thanks to its low ankle cuff, you can use the FastStream Aero Shoe Covers to smooth the airflow over your road cycling shoes while still benefiting from the aero advantages of dedicated aero socks. Opposed to high cut shoe covers, you don’t have to wear 2 layers on your lower leg. Socks also have a significantly better fit around your lower leg than a tall cuff of shoe covers. Tested and developed with the professional riders of Team Uno-X Mobility, the FastStream Aero Shoe Covers save you up to 10 watts at 45 km/h, making them the ideal choice for time trials or road races.

Naturally, they have a super tight fit around your shoes, so be careful and patient when putting them on. Please note that they are only meant to be used with road cycling shoes featuring either laces or dials. The seams are sealed, and the surface fabric is a stretchable Lycra fabric with a smooth PU-coating that you can easily wipe clean after your ride. On the sole, they feature a convenient hook-and-loop strap that you can even cut to size if it is too long and therefore avoid the ends from protruding – all for the aero gains. Underneath the toes, a hard plastic diffusor serves both as an aero enhancement and wear reinforcement.

The FastStream Aero Shoe Covers are windproof, but not waterproof. They are ideal in cooler conditions where you need protection from the wind and road spray, keeping your road cycling shoes in pristine condition. A 300 km ride in sweltering summer weather is not where you would wear these covers, but for a fast-paced 2-hour crit race or time trial, they will excel.
